New from TA Performance, the TA V2026 `86-`87 231 Turbo, Internal & External balancer with removable counter weight.

TA Performance has just reproducted the stock 231 Turbo Balancer. This balancer can be used on Internal or Externally balanced rotating asemblies. The counter weight is removable as you can see in the picture. Comes with pick up wheel installed, marked with TDC, 25 degrees Before TDC, 25 degrees After TDC, and best of all, it's SFI Approved.

Intro priced at $289.95

Damn it! I was searching hard for this two months ago. I even called you guys. (I think) I'll probably order one for x-mas simply because mine has no timing marks.
Oh, Thanks for making great parts.

Very nice!!!! Thanks for the continued developmental work on parts for these engines... :)

Nice piece!!

Call Nick Micale"http://www.arizonagn.com/" .. He got mine in no time

Would you have to balance this with a rebuilt stock rotating assembly with stock crank, rods, pistons, flexplate, etc? Not sure when the balancing technique applies when rebuilding a motor. I wouldn't think you need to re-balance a stock rotating assembly but could be wrong.

Would using this balancer require a rebalance, or would it just be advised to do so ?
