When I bought the car I put a TT93 chip and put a straight pipe in ran a best of 94 mph at 15-16 psi at 0 seal level. Since then I changed the valve springs, valve seals, welded a header crack that was 3/4 around, added blue top injectors, duttweiler neck, new o2 sensor, bstc boost controller, scan master, new plug's colder gap, and alky with a thrasher 92 chip till erics alky chip arrives.Car drives nice no hestitation or stumbling. Here's my new times. Pump has been hotwired also.

Left at idle no boost 20-21 psi o2's 812 1.9 knk

This is crazy why is my MPH so freek'n low? I'm going to get some help from some freinds this week to problem solve any ideas from you guys would be much appreciated.

thx mike

Too much alky? Proably not. See what happens with new chip.

Still running the factory cat?

I hear lots about old school chips and picking on Hypertech.

I went 13.5x at 105 with a Hypertech, no cat, and a K&N cleaner - but the car was more than 15 years younger too.

It would have been good to see what you MPHed without the alky.

I think the old chips ran good (I had a Hyper) for the most part but have to much timing for today.

Thrasher 92 is a street chip, not a race chip. It pulls timing bigtime in 3rd and therefore will NEVER mph.

Use a race chip at the track or at least one burned for alchy.

you should try lowering your o2's to 780 take your time lowering and maybe your to rich cause you showed 1.9 at 812 and o at 801 or try more boost and try turning up alky

I think my track experience will help you narrow down the problem. I have a grand national with all the same mods you have boost controller injectors and ect. The 2 things you have thing I don't is a scanmaster and alky. My first run with the grand national I left at Idle with 0 boost and had a 2.5 60 foot time and I ran a 14.8 with 96 mph. The second run I left my dad drive it we had a mishap at the track and so he had to run the car hot. He left with 0 boost but slightly above idle and cut a 2.2 60 ft and ran a 14.6 at 94 mph. We figure if we would of left at 5-8 psi we could of got it to go a 13.8. Further details....I have a street 93 octane chip in it, it is probably similar to what you are using. Also most importantly my times were at "15 psi" and I was running 93 octane mixed with about 3 gallons of "race gas". So I really hope my experience helps you. Sorry I can't give more info like knock and 02s ect. My scanmaster is coming in this week though. Oh yeah I'm not sure what the elvation is of the track but im sure its above sea level.

I had no problems making MPH on thrasher92 chip.. actually I know of a handful of cars that trapped really well on one at high boost. There are better chips... but looking at the time slips above.. I wont blame the chip.

Boost=restriction. Becuase you make boost doesnt mean you make power if the motor is not flowing air.

I would unhook the exhuast from the downpipe running it open, and also watch your boost guage to make sure it does go to 21 PSI as soon as you leave and not 15 then creep to 21.

If that doesnt help, look into valve springs..

And start leaning out the car and get your O2's into the mid-upper 700's.

There is also no telling what you have for leak down on your cylinders, and if your cam is still healthy.

I had a clogged KN once make my car drop 6 MPH at the track. Just like you mave have a clogged IC.. start working on getting the car "figured". And work on your MPH and disreguard ET. Look at the 1/8 and 1/4 MPH and that will let you know if your heading in the rite direction.

99.9% of cars with a T92 won't trap over a 100-101 mph on 20 psi of boost... but slap in a T100 and no other changes the same car will go 106-108.

He can crank the boost up or he can switch chips but his run is pretty typical for a T92.

His 8.8 1/8 mile at only 77 mph, even with a lousy 2.0 60 ft, meant the car was working good in 1st and 2nd gear. It just crapped out in 3rd, which is the signature of T92.
