Picked up a new enclosed trailer for the buick. 28' Pace

Didn't have the right drop with me as it was a last min rush to get to the trailer place before it closed. Front is sitting a little low in the pictures I know.

Will be putting in rubber flooring or something. Was working on a custom ordered trailer but they called me on this one as a customer ordered it and backed out so I got it for a smoking deal.

Only difference between the one I was ordering and this one is, i was getting rubber coin flooring and all gray and gray cabinet with no escape door.

This one I'm good with the color as it matches the buick and it has more options then the one I wanted and it was alot cheaper. So all in all I'm happy just need flooring

I'm in California so.. I paid 11,700

However that was a smoking deal as I belive you can't even touch this trailer for under 15k

I would think that would be a smoking deal no matter what state you live in! Couldn't buy one like that here for that money!!

Very nice. Couldn't you do the floor yourself? Harbor Freight has the anti fatigue flooring. And you can use 20% off coupon! [emoji3]

Yes and that's what I might do. I was also going to look into rhino lining or some for of pray in.

The floors aren't currently bare as they are painted with an oil resistant paint. It's more for looks then anything

NICE!
can offer couple suggestions?
check tire pressure before EVERY trip!!!!!!!!!
load the car forward as possible, as the "wiggle" (if it occurs) will ruin your shorts!
I carry two spares, as "trailer tires" are all junk, and if you exceed 65mph, you will find out !

I have rhino lining on my car trailer, and it is chipping and peeling,
I'd use the coin mat, so you could replace a section if needed.

looks really great! and the color is sweet!

I will check the pressures. I have a weigh safe hitch so it tells me tongue weight so I will load it as need to have 10 - 15% on the tongue.

I have had the wiggle towing a different trailer with a different truck and that was not a good feeling. That trailer was a POS.

I ordered a spare with the same wheel and tire. I hope that will be enough to last.

I did tow it empty to nicks at 75 to 80mph in 110 plus weather and it towed great.

I have also had a trailer tire blow at 65 mph in 120 degree heat so I know how tires are. I have also had a brand new tire blow on a trailer. Hell the tire only had 50 miles on it .

I will probably go with the rubber coin flooring as that is what I orignally wanted but I will hold off for alittle while.

Color is nice, wish the front was the darker gray over the silver as it would match my car and truck better but it does look good. I really like it over just white or black.

It matches my brothers silver cummins that's for sure

I was towing my car back from Lake Forest after the Bates show of '13 ( tandem axel open trailer) and at 80 mph the right rear tire blew up.

That, in turn, caused the trailer brakes to lock and that snapped the u bolt holding the rear axel and leaf springs together . Physics took over from there. You want to talk about "wiggle"!............

I thought sure I was going to be in the center median and rolling, but I managed to reel it in and get it off the road.

Second scariest ride of my life.

Very nice. Yeah, I'd stay away from the spray on liner also for this. Been looking at some for my garage floor. I'll send you the details for a couple places I found where the pricing was half what I've seen from other places.

I'm just going to do my original rubber flooring when I get around to it

I used to work at Haulmark in the weld shop #2, we built the prototype trailers and did the perfect finish work for the high end customers. Worked on Petty Race team trailers in '99. All the enclosed trailers from Haulmark/Pace etc are tounge heavy as the axle centers are too far back. As all stock pickups sit high in the back, when the trailer is hooked up and loaded and the truck sits close to level and the trailer is close to level it will pull pretty good. The weight safe hitch is nice.
We built a 32' open car hauler on the side to pull behind a 1/2 ton pickup, told them the dual axles were too far back. The rear of the truck sank so far down it looked scary. Ended up moving them forward till the back of the rear leaf bolted to front hanger and added a 3rd axle in front of those. Lots better but he soon got a 2500 as it was a lotta trailer and too much with 2 cars for a 1500.

Thanks for the heads up. As you can see in the picture it's sitting low in the front. They called me last min so I didn't have the proper drop. I'm going to be installing my new reese class v hitch with weigh safe drop hitch so I can properly monitor tongue weight.

My current hitch is crap from the factory. I think the 2010 to 2012 hitches were a issue on the cummins so I got a new one.
