Took car out for a bit and was toying around with shift right T brake, had some extra weight (3 people) in car and when I got home and put car in park the loudest whine or siren type noise I have heard from a car came out under the right front tire from transmission. It is loudest and occurs every time the car is put in Park. Alleviates when put in gear.
I took the belts off car in front to eliminate accessory noises.
At first was intermittent now occurs all the time in park even if you let the car sit and cool off and restart it.
Trans is new and has new Converter, could the noise be coming from somewhere else? Drive shaft and rear end are new and the noise comes from the transmission pan as far as I can tell when I slid under car for closer listen.
Anything else to check?
Thanks
