You have a K&N open air filter which is reusable, in place of the stock airbox. You have a blow off valve in the up pipe which some believe helps turbo life. You have a fuel pressure gauge on the right of the up pipe and an adjustable boost controller to the left of the pipe, keep the boost to 15 psi or lower. Your EGR valve and solenoid have been removed, so you won't pass emission inspections, if you have them. You have the preferable larger oil filter, and you should read up on and invest in ZDDP Plus oil additive, unless you have an upgraded roller cam in the car. You can find all the info you should need here along with the links listed above. Enjoy the read

Looks pretty much stock except for a few things. Have a boost controller on the car, fuel pressure Gauge off the fuel rail, blow off valve on the up pipe. You can read on this site ( I'm still new to the bucks as well an have read A LOT about the cars) and just figure out what you want to do with the car and your expectations of the car.

A dirty K&N that may have holes rubbed in it, from the A/C hoses. And, a badly mis-aligned I/C pipe to turbo coupling...
Start reading... While U R doing that, start an "escrow acct", for the car....:D

You also have t-bolt clamps, good, on most intercooler hose connections except the one at the throttle body and that's usually the one that goes, for me anyway.

Thank you everybody with the help i plan in ordering me a scan master today..Are they all the same any one certian i should get or does it not make any difference??

You didn't mention whether you had a "real" boost gauge, you should have one especially with the manually adjusted boost controller being on there. Do you know what size the injectors are? If not, try to read the numbers off one then post it. You have to know the injector size if you ever want to get a new chip.

Welcome to the highest traffic Buick Turbo Board on the net, period!!
I like Leeper's advice, "start a escrow account". It's true, not hard to drop a couple of thousand dollars before you know it...
I see a wacky throttle cable, with a miss alignment and tons of cable sticking up... also see a Kenne-Bell intercooler, that's old school there, not sure on the performance compared to the more common ones made today.
My advice is to try and take it slow, enjoy your car, get to know it.... do you have any contact with the previous owner? Also use the search engine on the web site for questions, chances are it's been asked before, if you don't find your answer, post a new topic.

Yes I have could have some contact with the previous owner but i dont think he knows much about the car himself he said he probly put on 300-400 miles on the car in the 2 years that he had it.

If it runs ok with that chip, you probably have 60s in there for injectors. Good chip and injectors so you should be good to go there.

If you are using 93 octane I would probably bump that timing up a little. Not until you have the scanmaster and verify everything else is where it should be though.

You're either low on brake fluid or it is very clean fluid in the driver side of the reservoir.
The passenger side should not be that high, it might mean your powermaster is not holding pressure. I.E. your brake light comes on when you turn the key on and it stays on for awhile until the pump builds pressure.
