I thought there were less TTAs, than GNXs, can someone explain to me why
GNXs go for 100k and TTAs go for 28k???
Thanks in advance
Mike:confused:

I have seen going for around $8000-$15000 over the past year just never became a high collectable.

Actually there were 1550 TTA's and 547 GNX's. They will come around in my opinion but not as much as the GNX's.

Great Car, I had one, but they'll Never really be worth a Whole Lot...Kirban & Richard Clark won't TOUCH them, and there are NO more of the TTA Specific parts, which Really hurts them. And the General (Muscle Car) Population doesn't really know about them,k also from experience, they are a Bitch to work on, campared to a Buick, they Ride Hard and LOUD, even the Mint Low Mile Ones.....

Is that vette h/c only? That thing gets it. I wish our cars wold trap 133+ w/ just heads and a cam. That's insane. Nice ride.

Mike,

GNX's are selling for so much more than TTAs because they can park next to late model highly modified C6 and still look good. :D

(Thanks for watching your doors when getting in and out of your car)

They will come around. The general public has no respect for ttas. They only see a white and gold gta. If it was white/blue like other anniversary tas I think it would have done better IMO. The tan interior and gold wheels turn some people off. And a Gn/gnx is recognized by everyone. Just look at turbo ts and limiteds compared to gn prices. Way more gn made but still worth more. Sometimes rare is because there was no market for things when new.

Thanks! Yes that was heads and cam pass. Nitrous is almost done, going for
9s. Full weight car, nav, heated seats, heads up display,
gets 25-28mpg and I can drive it to Cali if I want!!! That was the First full day at the track withNew set up. New RPM built trans (very stiff hard to shift), new clutch, heads and cam.
Once everything loosens up it should go 10.2-3s on motor

Thanks Herb LMAO! Beautiful Car! I was really checking that thing out. lol
Does the GNX have more Power? I would imagine. what are some of the differences between the GN and the GNX?

 Damn, you've got a quick car!

Those C6's are insane quick and respond to mods VERY well. Here's a vid of a buddy of mine. His mods at the time were LG Motorsports Longtube headers, Flowmaster catback, LG Motorsports G6X3 Cam, Veraram Intake, Ported Intake and Throttle Body, & Underdrive Pulley making 490 RWHP.

Yea, the GNX has more power stock to stock. IIRC, the X outperforms the GN by almost a full second in the 1/4 (low 13's stock as opposed to low 14s stock). Major mechanical differences off hand were the turbo, intercooler, & rear suspension setup. Appearance mods were GNX turbo cover, wheels, fender vents & fender flares. The dash setup was the major interior difference, along with a "GNX XXX" plate identifying what number it is on the passenger side dash panel.

Here are some pics from BuickGNX.com for Information on the 1987 Buick GNX... Read over that site. It is VERY informative.

How are they more of a bitch to work on as opposed to a Buick?

Ride "hard and loud".... was always told they rode better than a GN.

You've Obviously Never changed a Fuel Pump in a TTA, I have, Twice, ..MAJOR Major PITA!!
And thier way LOUD(Major Road noise) & Ride Rough Bone Stock, compared to a Regal, or Any Modern pony car...

True, but thier Also INSANLY Expensive! Compared to a Clean Low mile BPU
TR! And they Respond REAL Well to your Insurance companys bottom Line, ie.$$$ to insure, compared to a Clean Low mile BPU TR:)

No I've never changed a fuel pump in a TTA....I have heard you have to drop the rear end assembly to do it....though I have heard of people cutting a hole in the metal over where the pump is to make an access door to the fuel pump.

I didn't think they'd have a rough ride...I've heard the Regal rides better but is not much of a corner carver as opposed to a TTA. So is this so on all 3rd gen F body cars?

My old tta 340 did ride great with et streets on it, nice soft sidewalls made the ride so much better.

Other than the oil filter being a little cramped, and the fuel pump a pain to replace, its just like working on the turbo buicks.

Just like every car that corners well the ride is stiff on a TTA as to the plush caddy ride of the GN. I like the TTA because alot of people dont know what they are ....some call them mullet cars some call them turdgens i dont care I like mine.
