Hope it works out for you. Did you say that you pulled the pistons to inspect the rings? If so did you put the same rings back in?

Jeff we didn't pull the pistons out but by the looks of the piston walls they look and felt (smooth as a babies butt) we assume by this that the rings were just fine, we went ahead and replaced all the bearings and such and checked clearance fore everything, engine turns smooth but tight, I say he is good to go..

For some time now it's been apparent that Nordy & wicked have been an item.They are now turning Ray over to the other side, How long before they will have to be accommodated with their own alternative life style forum. It should be called ( happy endings )They have completely erased any doubt that Calif. is indeed the land of fruits,nuts & flakes.
