Looking to sell this turbo. IT was bought new by my brother around '07/08. He put less than 1000 miles on the car since the turbo was new. No track or Dyno ever. It has never been over 21 psi. There is no funny shaft play and it didn't smoke. I parted out the Buick V6 stuff so I won't be using this. The turbo is around $1200 new from Cotton. This is a Journal Bearing Turbo. I believe it's a .68 Ar. It spooled like stock with a 3000 stall and is known to support mid 10 second power with the right parts.

$525 shipped.

what are the specs on the wheels?
trim, and compressor...

I hate to say this. I would be taking guesses if I started throwing numbers around. The only other thing I know besides what was posted is that it's a P-trim. It's the basic and general CPT-66 that cottons always sold.

Is there an id tag on the side of it with a serial number? I had a turbonetics turbo on my last GN and it had one. Maybe that would help identifying it????

Yup thats the number. Try getting a contact for turbobetics give them that number I bet they can tell you l the info on it using that!

My buddy may want it, just try to get the specific info on wheel sizes if you can, thanks.

It looks to be one of their big shaft turbo's, as it has the orange back plate. Based on your info it does look to be a HP-66/F-1 68 if your wheels measure 2.58minor and 3.58 major. I just had to do this with my turbo, it looks similar with the orange plate, big shaft etc. Mine also came from Cotton's. Those are the numbers Turbonetics gave me. 805) 581-0333 is the number for them. Bump for a nice turbo!!

Thanks guys. I can take measurements of whatever I can to help. The inlet is 4 inches I think. I don't think this is an F1 wheel as they came out a little later like '09. I could be wrong though.

Im sure your correct, my turbo is a BB version of the 66 not a journal bearing...sorry. That tag will give you the exact details anyway but still a great turbo. I have a friend looking for one as well, I will point him your way !!

the turbine is a 65f1 or a p-trim as it has a turbonetics.63 ex housing on it.the larger 68 turbine wheel can only run the bigger pte .85 ex housing.a very nice turbo glws
