no compression on the 3rd cylinder

Found out I have no compression on the 3rd cylinder, no pieces or parts under the value cover. What is this going to cost at the repair shop.

Could be anything....

Wiped cam lobe.... blown head gasket.... burnt valve...

It is hard to say....

once you get it apart and find out whats all hurt then we can only guess how much its going to cost.
