i have a gn type 6 way power seat switch it is a brand new in the gm box.this is NOT the style that lmiteds or split benches it is 1 off a bucket seat

what is this gm switch worth?i presume it is discontinued and originals always have the middle controller broken off

i hope this is the right the right forum to ask this in?

thanks for the help.

eric is that used or new non GM at that link ??? , the discript seem to say it is used and possible that you dont have one

i noticed no new gm switches in the catalog

agreed the switch isnt too hard to find used in the junk yards , but NOS ..not too easy

New 8 pin in the link. If it's an old 7 pin than those are used. But still even if he has a 7 or 8 pin with chrome knobs and everything it isn't worth more than the the new parts unless somebody has to have a 100% correct restoration and is willing to pay more.

Eric. my GM dealer shows two 8 pin ones but one is like $50 and the other is like $104. What's the difference??

The buckets used the same switch as the bench/split bench seats. Nothing special as far as what it is worth.[/QUOTE]

they look diffrent with the trim on them that is why i thought they were diffrent.i had no clue they were still available i guess i just assumed they were not since the car i got this was off the road for about 12 years

thanks for the though:)

Temporarily out of stock  That price is from 3 years ago. Just checked pricing & the last 50+ purchases, you guys are welcome!!!

Look like we have been selling them for over half price.

I'm working on an adapter harness (the short one under the seat with four connectors on it) that will plug directly into the 8 pin (available) switch. It would need a bit of finessing to get it to fit in the OEM bezel, but other than that, it'd be a direct replacement.

The switches are different from '86 and '87's. The 86's have 7 pins on them as opposed to 8 pins for the '87's...or is it the other way around??... But one thing I know for sure is that they ARE different. (By the way, the whole power seat tracks are different between these two model years).
