Ok heres the deal, my converter recently started acting up after i topped of the tranny fluid. I believe it is staying locked at all times even after i disconnect the plug from the tranny and after restarting and brake pressed. Still locked. Replaced the TCC solenoid, still locked. I cant put it D, OD, 1, or 2 without it bucking and stalling. Will stall when I come to a stop. Neutral and reverse work for the most part. I believe its my TC but its relatively new and don't want to shell out a few hundred for no reason. Any suggestion would be much appreciated. And no i dont have a TC lockup switch.

Was the trans "rebuilt", if the converter is the problem is it still under warranty

Yea the trans is rebuilt with a shift kit, I am pretty certain it is not the transmission as it was shifting fine before the converter locked up. The converter was replaced last year when my dad had it so its not under warranty.

Could be something in the valvebody thats bleeding the pressure off from behind the TC and causing it to lock. Maybe a trans expert can tell you better info.

If there is a problem with the "worm holes" in the trans, pressures can leak between those circuits and cause problems. Could be a gasket, or could be valves that are'nt working right int he valvebody itself. If the converter is locked it has no fluid between the the TC clutch. Did you put the right fluid in the trans?

Either the lock up valve in pump is stuck (above soleniod) or you may have cut input shaft o-ring on instalation or bad converter.
