very sweet t nyteryder! and you know lil girl is going to want youre ride when she starts driving son.

i wanna run 18x10 in black with chrome lip anyone running these without spacers? thxs

So I'm seeing that quite a few guys are running 18 x 9.5 or 10 with 5" BS. I need to step up my Boss 338's to the bigger rim, so I can get some DR's running!!! Are the guys running that size and BS getting any rub? I'll likely be running 275-40-18's or 265-40-18's.
thanks

275? Why not 285? Or even up to 305? Though some drag radials run wider than others. As far as backspacing the brakes you are running also matters.

I already have the 338's at 18 x 8- 4.5 BS all around with 265-40-18's rear 245-40-18's front (both fit fine) . Stock back brakes. I'd use what ever will fit without modding. DR will be either Nitto's or MT's. Everything will have to be ordered from the states, so it has to be right. I can't be shipping things back, it would not be good lol

I think they look pretty cool too!!! good job............ :D

Modified Vectors. These were 15X8.5 to start with. I had them widened to 9.5" by WeldCraft Wheels. Back space is 4.5" now. These also have adapters to use stock T center caps.

They will look mean with some new 295 55 R15 MT drag radials on them.

With a 4.5" backspace a 12" tire section width doesn't rub? I've been looking at a 9" rim with 4.5" backspace and a 11" section width. All my measurements show it will be right up against the frame. Am I measuring wrong?

It's going to be close that's for sure... I might have to move it out a bit (1/4") and roll the quarter lips. The Hoosiers I have posted up above have an advertised 11.5" section width and a 10" tread width and they fit very nicely.

On the other hand, see several others on here using the 295 55 15's without any adjustments, running 8" rims or 10" rims with 4.5 back space.
