This is another "What should it run?" Thread and Im hoping someone has similair mods to myself and can tell me what they ran a best of or what I should run. Also would like 1/8 mile time (since thats the closest track) and 1/4 mile time if possible and mph. Thanks!

PT6176DBB Turbo-
3200 Billet 9/11 TC L/U
MT 28x10.5" Slicks
2 Air Bags (Stock suspension, open diff)
3.5" LS1 MAF, Gen II Trans, 60lb injectors
3" THDP, Test Pipe, 2 3/4" Exhuast
AFPR (set at 43psi) WB02, Razors Alky,
Stock I/C With Dutt Neck, Poston Headers
Walbro 340 with hotwire kit
Rebuilt Trans with Trans Brake

Im sure there is a little other stuff I forgot but pretty sure this is the important stuff. Also have WB Gauge, Power Logger, Boost gauge etc.

Im looking at around 21psi boost so far and have no knock. Will increase to around 24-27psi depending on knock now that I have a Power Logger. Any and all input appreciated!

11.70-11.90 @ 115-118 mph in the 1/4. That stock intercooler is going to be a choker. Also, an open diff is really going to kill your 60fts ( 2.00-2.50's )

Fuelie's got it pretty much nailed- assuming you can launch the car decently, and the car is in a decent state of tune/ weather cooperates/etc.

Best thing to do is track the car, and see what she can do.

good luck!

So whats holding me back from going any faster? What should my next mod be? I ran 1.8 60' before without trans brakes on old M/T Sportsmans so with slicks and a trans brake I should atleast run that.

You have a lot of solid parts- getting them to work together is the key. As you have all the tuning tools, work to get the car in a good state of tune- then incrementally turn up the boost/alky while monitoring for knock and A/F ratio. A small tweak can make (or take away) a lot of HP.

Log your results, and make adjustments as necessary.

Get a posi/limited slip- or get used to long pegleg burnouts....

High/mid 11s at near 120mph is very respectable.

The limiting factor may be YOU- not taking the proper time to tune the car, not taking the time to dial in launch techniques/driving the car, etc.

All the above is the hard part/fun part! Have fun!!!

Stock heads and I/C, I agree with JayC and say low 12's is realistic. High 11's if you run more boost and it is tuned well with a good launch, but 11's aren't "easy"

The bad news here is that you will have worse 60fts with a peg leg and a trans brake. The brake hits the tires hard, and w/o a posi it will send your tire up in smoke. You mentioned that your best 60 was 1.80. What were your times? MPH? How much boost did you leave with?

I left on the foot brake with 0psi launch, and stock turbo. Ran a 8.3 @ 83mph with 1.8 60' with around 22psi total boost and tt chip. I have since installed the dbb pt61 and a mt slicks and trans brake (before my trans was slipping so I rebuilt it) No the trans shifts firm and I have no problems with traction under hard launches. I run 15 psi on the left tire and 13 psi on the right and they both hook when I launch. The car has about 21 degress timing, no knock on about 20psi. Car is waaayyyy out of tune since I never had a logger and have not tried adjusting anything yet. Now I have a logger so I was trying to see where I should be at before I upgrade? And I thought stock intercoolers with dutt necks where good up to high 10's? Also thought THDP where good to about high 10's also? ..... Well regaurdless I know I could hit 11's but I figure poeple would run faster than that? I was told this turbo is good for mid 10's? Once I get as fast as I can with this set up, whats next? Heads, cam, i/c? Thanks fellas!

Sorry I didn't see you had the 3'' THDP  Thats good for 9's no problem.
A good front mount would definitely help ;) the Dutt neck is good but nothing beats a good front mount for the Street & Track.
Unported stock heads with new valve springs are good for low 11's.

I ran 10.90's with the Dutt. neck stocker. 1.80's with a 0 boost launch--WOW. It's been a long time since I ran a stock turbo. You might squeeze a very high 10 out of the 61, but that would be asking alot, and your boost will be up there. At this point, w/o good heads and a posi, your most likely going to be hanging around the high 11's.

So assuming I would max out this setup and have a good tune, whats my next go fast mod/s?

Well finally got a little tuning done and headed to the track. Only made about 4-5 passes and ended up with a best 1.8 60' no t-brake, 7 psi launch, and ran an 7.84 @ 89mph. No problem with traction. Had a problem with the LC1 flashing from 5.1 to o2 to 20.6 and back and forth so I dont think it was reading correctly. At idle it read 5:1 a/f. But it does seem to run a little rich. I even tried to cal the wb but still no luck. Here is a post of the log from the l so if you guys had any advice Id appreciate it. Thanks to Chad (QWIKWE4) for helping me tune and get the pl running! How do i upload a log for you guys to view?

Get that WB checked- something is way FUBAR!
5.1= pissin' straight fuel into the DP
20.6= shiny parts scattered all along the dragstrip (or the car is not running).

That WB is useless till you track down the reason for the mad fluctuations.

Well during the run te wb was showing 10.5-10.6 but we tuned off the nb o2 sensor so it wasnt too accurate but did show some improvement. It only showed thoses numbers during wot and at idle is when it was showing the wierd numbers. we ignored it since a 5.1:1 a/f would not even allow the engine to run.

10.5 is pretty rich - dial back the fuel/turn up the boost. 11.3 would be a target I'd shoot for.
