Hello All,

I'm going threw and changing things to try and locate the cause of my high BLM in doing so i got a new acdelco PCV valve when going to change it I noticed that the hose that leads to the PCV had oil in in and the valve its self had alot of oil on it also normal?

Yeah its normal. Its sucking blowby out of the lifter galley and accumulating into oil. You should get a PCV catchcan. They're great to have, and it keeps you from recirculating that acidic blowby vapor. best part about it, is that it reduces that carbon buildup on the back of the intake valves assuming your valve seals are good. The Alky will clean the valves, but the catch can will keep them clean. Your BLM issue probably wont have anything to do with the PCV valve. Most of the time, a high BLM is from vacuum leaks or a mismatch of some component (MAF/translator set wrong/ chip burned for different Injectors), Fuel pressure, etc. Its usually an accumulation of a bunch of little things.

Thanks so much for the Help. I have been trying to track this issue down for a few months now went threw all the vacume lines with a mitgtyVac and found a few things wrong i.e. bad egr solnoid, found that the EGR valve its self had no gasket or blew out, redid the boost line, changed MAF with two diffrent ones, I have a TT chip that I had burned for my inj, I bought the inj new from racetronics a few months ago. I'm still running the stock MAF so no translators to mess with all I can say is it has helped me alot to get to learn this carI messed up when I bought the car it was bone stock and I added all the parts in a two day period for the most part and now I'm kinda shooting in the dark to find the issue all you newbies out there learn from my mistake lol add tune add tune lol
