Oil capacity

How much oil does the 3.8L TR hold? My dipstick says 5 quarts but after change oil and start it and recheck it reads at the add mark. Inaccurate dipstick or possibly the wrong one installed?

should hold around 5- 5.5 depending on oil filter size, oil coolers.......

Thanks, it took 5.5 quarts to get to middle of cross hatch on dipstick.
