i have a 81,000 mile gn and i wanted to know what oil weight should i use since it is about to get warm here in chicago i ran 20 w 50 last year and was getting very bad gas mileage than with the 10 w30 when i bought the car and i wanted to know if i should used lucas oil stabilizer too or it would decrease my milage since it is so thick

The visor label indicates that 10w30 can be used for temps between 0-100+ degrees. I don't know what kind of temps you encounter, but we have some 100+ degree summer days in Sac, and I've not encountered any oiling problems. I would be concerned that the thicker weight oil would take longer to reach the Turbo bearings or put undue stress on the turbo bearings. Jus my 0.02.
