I have on old Jay Carter W/I kit, but the pump died. I was told that it used a early 90's late 80s ford truck inline fuel pump, but it had to be a special version that has stainless steel internals.

Do you guys have any clue as to the pump I'm talking about ?

Thanx for your help in advance.

Water conducts electricity and gas doesnt, so that might present some problems.

Also, the stock wrx turbo is a td04l-13T.

I used the pump for alcohol injection and used water to test it with. It worked fine. I did not use it over the long term and sold the system but others have had success with the pump.

Listed for an 88 F150 with EFI and dual fuel tanks i believe.

water only conducts current when laden with dissolved minerals, or ions. Deionized water and or distilled water will almost completely eliminate all possibility of this being a problem.

Although tap water doesnt conduct very well, after 10 hours with 12V passing through it will begin to show slight amounts of buildup/erosion on the anode/cathode.

Yea I know, I got tired of argueing with every DSM that seen me post it as a TD04L-13T... Now its been upgraded to a TD04L-50trim with a 15 degree turbine clip..

Thanx for the part#, I was about 5 days away from ordering a $80 W/I pump. Hopefully the truck pump will cost at least half...
