Old Gas

I was going through one of my sheds and found a 5 gallon can of old 116 race gas, its probably 5 years old by now
I don't really need it anymore since both cars have alchy but can I still use this stuff?
Throw it in slowly with fresh pump gas to up the octane?
If not how can I dispose of it properly?

hello peoples: That fuel is junk. Put some in your lawnmower and see what happens? I know if it was me I would take it to my redemption area and see what they'd say to do with it.

Good question... I would contact VP and see what they say. Maybe throw it in the Briggs & Straton??

Is it sealed in the small drum they sell? I would check with VP, I think it sells for around $15 / gallon or more now.

Keep it around another 50 yrs. Maybe the can will be worth something by then.
