This is pretty cool i did some research after you posted it, very interesting. The car was high compression all aluminum v8, garrett turbocharged with methanol injection. I also read if the Meth tank was empty it would by pass the turbocharger to prevent possible engine damage. Super cool..
Hey Frank- met that guy at Summer Thunder in Purcellville last summer- probably coolest car there. Guys first name was Scott I believe. They didn't make many of these especially in ragtop.
I'm surprised that the TB community hasn't done the research on where the turbo power came from. The first use of a draw through car/turbo system was in the 1920's on an airplane and it was a low pressure system but gave a better performance overall.
