On Center Build questions

Takes power away wrapping it. Lol let it slip on it tsm rules stated it had to have power steering so we would make it barely grab the pulley. Every little bit use to help back in the day

Thanks Neil I appreciate your help on this project for answering all my dumb questions . Now just have to get it to a dyno and tune it . O and finish abunch of wiring lol

Looks good man. You're going to flog it on a dyno right away?

unfortuinly I had a oil pressure issues when I installed a oil cooler . basicly took out my #4 rod bearing pretty good . It's at 2.230000" and all others are at 2.24500ish here is acouple pics of it .

I haven't updated theirs thread in awhile . Since the last post I have gotten the crank and rods machined
. The mains polishes up and are still standard . The rods I took it to .010 under. The rods have been resized which was Needed . I am also switching to stage heads . The heads had o ring groves cut in them . I welded them up and they are getting resurfaced . I would have kept the groves but they unfortuinly where to small for my bore which made them fall into the cylinder bore . I just received some single turbo headers that I got a smokin deal on . Here are some pictures of where I'm at

Well after making all the spacers custom lengths I got the drivers side roller rockers spaced . I also bought a solid roller cam here are the specs . Let me know whlat you guys think ? Thanks

If you are looking for opinions, here you go.
1 - First , Need to understand your goal and endgame.
2 - I would take the heads, cam and intake and put it back on the shelf and put the stock style heads back on and maximize that combo first. You will most likely be happier in the end.
3 - Stage 2 heads really need a radically different combo to extract any benefit so unless you are willing to take that path I would adhere to step 1 above. Based on that cam and assuming you are running modest compression you are better off with stock style heads.
4 - Stage 2 heads will work but not worth the compromises and extra effort in most situations.
AG.

Did you change the flange coming off the header to mount the turbo, looks like it changed sizes ( a little smaller, more oval) than on the first pics.?

Did you have to elongate any pushrod holes for the rockers to line up?
The holes where elongated before I got them . These where ran on a indy block so the lifters where places right next to each other so the pushrods holes had to be modified .

no that’s how I received the headers .

Well after all that about going with stage heads and gathering all the parts to do so I’m going to be sticking with my TASE heads for now . As soon as I can fabricate some spacer to use the intake manifold that has indvidual throttle bodies .then I’ll switch the top end . But I just got done assembling the top end here are some pics

Well fellas it’s time to wrap this tread up . I got her to the dyno last night and I am quite happy with the results . I have a double pumper hooked up I just need to finish the wiring to the second pump . So with one walbro 450 with a Boost a pump on e85 I managed to put down 745RWHP and around 615FtLbs . All that power was made on only 17lbs of Boost out of my CT43 7168 . I was runing out of fuel so I’ll be hooking the second pump up shortly .

I only spun it to 6 becuse it was leaning out after 6000 rpm . I have wired my second pump up so now just to tune it in . She was super thirsty for fuel so I’m glad I got the 2nd 450 pump wired in . I don’t know if I mentioned this but my primary pump is hooked up to a Boost a pump and is at 17volts .
