I met a guy with an '87 GN, blown head gasket (he thinks)

car is decent, no visible rust (I heard that before) but does have some dings/dents, Interior clean, hardtop odometr reads 67K, but I havent been able to get from him wether that is 67K or 167K

I do understand the car has been sitting for at least a couple of years. It does start and run, though it runs like crap.

I saw the car at another friends house, and he wants it out of there. I told him I'll make him an offer (It seems he bought the H-D bug and bought himself a new Road King, and now has no cash to fix his GN...)

we will see.....*crosses fingers and toes*

head gasket huh?

Hey Rob,
Is that the GN parked on makaweo st. (I think thats how you spell it) in Wahiawa? Thats a street off of California Ave. Just curious because I stopped by that house a couple of weekends ago to ask if it was for sale and the guy said that its his friends and he had it there to fix what he believes is a blown head gasket but, his friend hasn't given him money for the parts. Oh well, good luck!!

Yup, thats the car...

BTW, still waiting for his response.

I know the guy that lives there, but the car belongs to his friend. (know him too) But I get the feeling he thinks the car is worth more than it really is.

The wife just surfed this site, and said she wants one too... DAMN her!!! It's awful tempting, but I think she'll have to wait until we hit the mainland in a few years. Then she can have mine and I can build my stage 2 twin turbo or TA performance twin turbo... See.... Got to plan ahead when married... :)
