I have not had my GN on the track yet and have a question. I just put a spacers and longer studs on the rear with stock rims and MT DRs. Do I need to purchase open lugs to comply with NHRA? Is this required for all four wheels? If so where is the best place to get these lugs. If possibly chrome which will not rust.
Thanks
Sal

It's not required. But you may have to remove one to satisfy the tech. inspector. Open ended lugs are just easier for inspection purposes.

So, where can we buy nice open lug nuts?

You could also use GM# 9594683. I think these nuts allow you to screw the black and/or silver caps over top of them if you drill a whole through the cap for the stud to stick through.

The best (least expensive anyway) open lugs I've found were the stock lugs, with the crumby little sheet metal covers removed.
