opinions on shift kit

i was wonderin what shift kits everyone is using. i ve heard alot of good things about the art carr kit. anyone using other kits like the b+m. i just want some opinions on the kits. i want to buy one for my daily driver so im looking for a street kit.
also would changing the tranny fluid to synthetic be a problem on a 120k tranny. or would it be best to stick with the stock recommended fluid.
