Ouch!!

just had a wisdom tooth pulled. Man, does it hurt right now. I guess I have really strong roots in my teeth, and wisdom teeth usually have one root, well mine have two. I have 3 more to go, will I die??? I must have been injected 15-20 times, but it still hurt when they pulled it. The dentist asked if it hurt, I said no just to get the shiznit over with :frown: this sucks!!!! anybody else have stories about wisdom teeth?

Here, this will make you laugh a little. After having my wisdom teeth pulled, I got a piece of rice stuck between the stitches and had to have the stitches removed and resewn to remove the piece of rice. And no you won't die, just keep taking them drugs and get well soon.

I got mine taken out in boot camp and wasworking out the next day talk about painful

Wow...you should have gotten all 4 taken out that way it would only hurt once. Why didn't you?

If I feel better, i'll be going, cant garantee it though. I feel like crap right now and hav'nt ate all day. I dont have the energy to clean up the elky, and it needs a wax on top of that. And the reason I did''nt have all four out at once, is that my teeth are very deep, and have big roots. The dentist said if he pulls out two at once, it would be a bad ideal. I would bleed too much, and something about nerves in the face and neck? but this sucks. I'll let you know if I go tomorrow Gary, this sucks.

I've had all of mine pulled. None hurt that bad except that last one. I had to go to an oral surgeon and my face was swollen like a chipmunk. In fact I went back to work the same day after the first couple.

The key here is to get one pulled at a time. That way you get more Vicodin than doing two at a time.

Stick with having 1 at a time pulled out, that way, they will prescribe you more tylenol & codine #4. Or your personal preference. Only take what you need, and save the rest for emergencies like when you can't get to the doc or dentist right away. Just come to the show, & put the turboelky as work in progress. This is a killer show and you will regret missing it if you do. ee you there.

Drugs

thats funny you guys say. When I went the first time, I went because my tooth hurt, and was swollen. They gave me penicillin and pain pills. I told them give me vicodine. The lady at the front desk said ok and changed it. Well, unfortunatly they dont work well for me unless I take three at a time. This time I told them give me something stronger, they gave me tylenol 3's I believe. I do the same thing, use sparingly, to take when I dont have pain
i'm going to try to convince my girlfriend to go, this way she wont yell at me about kicking her out to her moms while I suffer today If I feel better tonight, i'll get up and clean the car up a little. Maybe i'll see you guys tomorrow. But i'll be high

If the pain is worth it go ahead. To me it seems stupid to get drugged up 4 times rather than one just to get some pain killers. Whatever though.......

relax bro, take a chill pill I would not suffer pain if I had medication for it, and I'm not a pill head, dont worry. Though vicodine and beer are a good combination, it even says on the perscription, :alcohol may intensify the effect!: and if I could get all four pulled at the same time, I would believe me, but the doc said one at a time... thanks for the concern though buddy

me too , i had two removed talk about hurting, and then i get a medical note that read R.T.D. i was in boot camp so iwas like wtf does this mean?
it was RETURN-TO-DUTY , we had to hump a 10-k march the next day
