Went to the track the other weekend (after getting all the other problems fixed) and found that I was out of injector?? I'm running 40# red stripes and ~17 lbs of boost. Direct Scan shows over 100% duty cycle but I'm only running high 13's so it doesn't make sense. I have to run a 33 lb injector constant to get the blm in line. Tried 3 MAF with the same symptoms. Fuel pressure looks good (45 line off and increases 1 psi/psi boost, 340 pump). Is it possible that the pulse width direct scan reads isn't what the injector is seeing?? I checked the positive voltage on the injector harness and it is within .5 volt of battery voltage. Sorry so long.

At 13's? No way unless you have a problem. I went 11.78 with them and so have others. Maybe pump related?

I really don't think pump related. I took the car out the next day after the track and fuel pressure looked correct. The puzzling part is that I have to put such a low injector constant in the chip to get everything inline. I flowed the injectors at work and they all came out around 39 lbs.

Low injector constant?.
how low?.

Use 40 and tune from there.

The instant you diddle the injector constant you greatly effect everything. If you have particular problem look to cure that without making full scale changes.
Use the PE vs RPM and PE TPS to get WOT right.
Is the MAFs you been using STOCK.
IMO

Had to use 33# injector constant to get things in line. MAF sensor that I have in it now is stock. Two others I tried were AutoZone reman's with same issue (although the autozone reman's wouldn't go above 210).

There's something terribly amiss if you have to run 40# red stripes with a 33# injector constant. No wonder DS thinks you're out of injector.
What happens to the idle cells with the correct injector constant (36h was the best I had found to work when I was running the red stripes).

idle cells max out w/40 # injector constant and all others are high. I'll rerun the 40# constant since it has been a while and let you know what the blm's are.

FWIW DEPT

Have had 2 sets of reds on the bench and both would do NO BETTER than 36# at 3 bar... The last set was so bad, the customer left them here!! Anyone want them???:D :D

hey chuck, im looking to upgrade my 120k stock injectors , are those injectors still good if so i will take a set.

hey what track you go to richmond or vmp?

i was at richmond last friday night and only other turbo regal there that night was a white 87 t but it was running 13.10's
