It's done.
Got a new radiator, got new fans. Got a new water pump. Got the girdle and deep pan from RJC. Over $10k in parts and labor.
It runs great. Excellent throttle response. Engine likes to rev quickly. I give it a little gas and expect to see ~ 3-5 psi and I'm still pulling vacuum.
The improvement seems noticeable.
But there's some knock, popping and backfiring as boost and load on the engine increases. Getting code 34 (low MAF signal). Got the LT1 throttle body and translator gen II. One of the buttons on my translator isn't working, so I can't navigate around. Perhaps the translator, being off the car for so long, reset to defaults. And/or there's a bad connection somewhere.
Once I get that ironed out, and the motor broke in, I'll be ready to race.
