How does the the accufab billet aluminum AFPR actually adjust fuel pressure? I understand the 1:1 boost:fuel rise, but looking at other universal ones some have 2 inlets and 1 return and even up to 4 inlets and 1 return or multiple returns. Those I presume work by restricting the flow through it and thus regulates the fuel flow.

How does the stock one work and the accufab one? The accufab is capable of adjusting the pressure, but how does the unit actually set it. Stock one and the accufab one does not have any outlets just one inlet. Kinda stumbled on this and might be a stupid question, sorry :(.

the inlet is actually IN the fuel rail... what you are referring to as the "inlet" is the OUTLET to the return line...... just like the others it restricts fluid flow to a designated psi

you set the pressure by adding or removing preload on the spring inside with the adjustment screw, which raises or lowers the amount of pressure it takes to bypass the fuel, which dictates the pressure in the fuel rail.

So in that case, should plug the inlet and return in the stock fuel rail and use the inlet and outlets in the afpr that I have? Its an aem universal one. Got it for cheap from a friend since he didn't end up using it. Or should I just sell it and buy the accufab one made for our cars?

Which one did you go with the "aem" or the "accufab" ?

If you're running the stock fuel rail system, you'd be well advised to go with the accufab that's designed for the stock system.
