The red led comes on at 4-5 psi boost, but the green led doesn't come on until I reach 15psi of boost, How do I lower the green turn on point to about 10-12 psi boost. I looked at the pump and the top of the allen screw is flush with the housing.which way do I turn the screw:confused: Thanks.

Outward increases response. In other words turn it CCW.

Now if you increase the blue gain knob.. it will switch earlier.

Sorry, I do not mean to HIjack here but my question is just the opposite. I want it to start spraying later, meaning I do not want any alky to come on until about 13/14psi. I know there is the intial and turn on settings but did not know which one would make the change I want.

Thanks,

If you increase turnon... it will activate latter. But understand you better increase the initial as well.

There is no reason to activate my system on a Buick at 13-14 PSI. If you have some issue, address that first. And if it was turning on at 5 PSI and now you turn it on at 14 PSI. Now you will have at 29 PSI boost the alky you had at 20 PSI. So the Initial is needed to be turned up so at 20 PSI you what you had before.

No issue, System is working great for me. I was at Norwalk and didn't best any times but did run at 26psi with zero knock. Just trying to test out some things is all. So what your saying is if I turn on the alky at 14 it will not have enough pump output at 29psi because the system will think it is only at 20psi

Question is then can we have it set so that the system is armed and ready for 14 psi and then when it hits 26psi there is no skip in the beat?(not trying to change any design just curios to know if this is possible even if both turn on and intial are adjusted to the same settings)

But in order to make any changes for when the system kicks in you must turn the knobs clockwise correct? Turning them counter clock wise make the system engage sooner?

I would gold plate your car and leave it alone.

Yes CW increases.. CCW decreases.

Ok.. so what is happening that you would like to change all the way from 5 PSI to 14 PSI? Instead of lets say 5 PSI to 7 PSI?.. Then 9 PSI.. and gradually make changes.

If you want a Buick majic wand to all of a sudden over a keyboard tell you to move things to X position and then go 26 PSI to see what happens.. I am not the guy... Seems to me the way its set appears to be yielding results.. so make small changes.. in other words you move dials 1/64 of a turn.. and little at a time experiment. But there is more tuning to fueling than there is to alky. Alky makes up 20% of your fuel. The other 80 percent is where you need to focus. Unfortunately you dont have a knob to mess with the chip.. so the alky gets the brunt of tweaking.. and if it aint knocking.. kiss the alky gods.. light a candle.. and concentrate on other things.

Remember use alky for knock suppression.. if it doesnt knock.. leave the alky alone.

Thank you, I would never just jump from one extreme to the other, the numbers I was using were just hypothetical. But yes, no complaints with the car and system except for maybe my suspension. But that is another problem in another thread :)

Thanks again,
