Paint help and ideas needed

I will be shooting my car with GM 11 white.
It will have the 2 stripes over the trunk to the hood in GM '80s Metallic sliver/light grey.
What do you think about shooting the car (including the stripes) with a pearl?

only if your adding 32 inch rims

I laid out a stripe job once that had base coat then pearl shot around the edge's then I taped off, leaving one inch border (pearl) and shot solid so the border around the stripe had pearl in it, that looked nice

whole car in pearl? the new cadillacs look sharp but i couldnt see it on the T unless im reading q wrong but anyway whole stripe in pearl? i wouldnt

You couldn't get me to pay for 18s so paying for 32s not going to happen

I am not going to put a "heavy" pearl
Just looking to add "something" to the refrigerator look

was kidding on the rims but the idea of how it might turn out..well

Try house of colours for some ideas as to a flake and not a pearl
or like i mentioned just adding an accent..somtimes less is more

this tank has some blue in it although hard to see

black base, multiple coats of mutiple shades of blue with blue pearl, i got a better pic on disc somewhere but also a couple other close ups of other projects with pearl but my oganizational skills here at this desk is lacking..guess thats why the wife does the taxes eh

i will be buying the pearl stuff in the morning.
right now it looks like
1-White Pearl
2-sylver pearl
3-Blue
i hate picking paint.

i let my wife pick every color in the house.
but she wants nothing to do with the car stuff

the other tank has gold flake and silver pearl inlaid into the spiderwebbing with gold pearl shot over top of that ..err somthing like that..few years old

If you paint the whole thing with pearl, keep track of how many/much pearl is used. Otherwise it's a real PITA if you ever have to do a spot repair.
