Id fluff and buff it unless your going to go with a show quality paint job.
If you could find a friend who does quality paint jobs, your looking at least a few thousand bucks to make it right.
As for maaco, if the prep work is done right and everything is removed, they do a pretty good job. Weve had a few done here at maaco and they turned out great if the painter has been doing it long enough.
Like i said, its all in the prep work.
