What color and what type of paint is used on the valve covers and the upper plenum? This is for the stock 87 Gn ones. thanks

Also what color to i paint the grill, wheel well trim pieces, and head light bezels? thanks for the info

I used POR-15 brilliant aluminum on my intake. Baked it in the oven at 250ish for an hour and slowly let it cool. The color works pretty well for the intake/plenum as I've done a few this way.

I'm wondering why you would need to do that since POR-15 dries as it reacts with the moisture in the air and the air in an oven is pretty dry. Does it make it any stronger or something? I was gonna look for someone to powder coat it but if POR-15 works....

High heat Por 15. It doesn't harden till it gets 300ish. I let it dry for a week and it still came off on my hands, then I baked it and it stayed put.
