If nobody ends up buying the radio would you be willing to sell the mounting brackets off of it? I have a cassette radio out of a low mile GN but I'm missing the brackets, and the knobs are also missing the chrome caps like yours are. Let me know please. Thanks

Mike, The radio is still available, never heard back. $30 shipped with the brackets, you'll need parts someday anyhow:biggrin:

Any way you can send pics to mjpeters@roadrunner.com? I actually ended up buying a good, fully functional radio including good knobs and brackets from a buddy of mine but it's not a GN radio. Also, could you include in the email what the price would be with a new belt installed? I finally got around to trying both of the radios I have in my car and it turns out that my other radio which is a perfect-looking GN radio has a bad eject mechanism, which causes it to spit the cassette out as soon as you put it in. Not sure if or how I can transfer this mechanism over from the non-GN radio though. Not that I still own a ton of cassettes (and not that they're not all worn out anyway), but for some strange reason I think it would be cool to have a fully functional GN cassette deck that I can install if I ever get the urge to do so.

Mike the cassette assembly can be easily switched out, I know the one I have works (Except for the belt slipping). If I were to fix it, you’d be looking at around $100 or so shipped. I have to get the belt, fix it, test it. While I was in there I think the volume pot had some static. So the original price, $30.00, $10 parts, $12 shipping, and a case of beer for me. I’d rather not fix it, it’s a time thing and I do not have any right now.
