Does anyone know of a vendor that will accept PayPal (not MC or Visa) to buy a Scanmaster II? I've searched vendors and they all accept plastic but I don't have any credit cards and don't want to wait until a check clears..........Can anyone steer me to a vendor who accepts PayPal???

Why not just send them a money order? You can get them at just about any pharmacy or the post office.

IMHO debit cards or check cards should never be used for phone or online purchases. By the time you find out there is a problem your checking account is drained. It's not like a CC where you say "hey I didn't charge that and I am not paying for it" Your money is history and your left trying to get it back..

Not with my bank...

I can dispute and/or revoke a payment with my debit card just like any other VISA card available. Maybe all banks aren't that way but i thought they were. Exactly like using VISA without the interest from my bank. Frank

yes you can revoke or refute charges..... Let's say you mailed out 10 checks for your bills that month and then used your check card and someone drains your account... you may not notice until you start getting the returned check notices and all the assoiciated service charges not only with you bank.,.. but every place that you bounced a check to... trust me it's a lot simplier to fix a wrong charge on a CC then to try and str8en out that mess.. but hey you do what you want... like I said it was my humble opinion.
