I'm in the process of eliminating the PCV valve in my car ('87-T) and was wondering if anyone has used a rubber plug to block off the PCV hole in the intake.

I've used the search feature on here, and have found that many have drilled and tapped the intake or have simply plugged/capped the PCV valve or plugged the the PCV hose.

Before I remove the intake to drill and tap it, I was wondering if anyone has used a rubber plug to block off the intake hole. If so, what rubber plug or cap did you use?

I've not measured the hole.
I had welded mine closed when I built the stage engine.
Maybe someone with a manifold off can measure it.

It seems more folks have added catch cans to the PCV system than anything else, although some have added an extra breather in that hole as well as the valve covers.
This breather pops right in the PCV grommet.

The above link does work.

Dont block it, rather tap the hole and screw a fitting there with a hose.

I think that the hole is 3/4 but dont quite remember.
