Pulled my factory vacuum block during a vac brake conversion. As i loosened it a little oil seeped out from it. Im guessing this means i need a new pcv valve. Can anyone confirm???

When at idle or cruise mode, the PCV will allow air, and oil vapor, to be pulled into the intake via the vac block on top of the throttle body.

Under boost, the PCV acts like a check valve and prevents boosted pressure to enter engine/crankcase.

With the factory parts in place, crankcase pressure under boost is vented from the pass valve cover to the turbo inlet. This also is a help to lower emissions by burning these fumes which contain oil and gas particles.

In all the turbo Buicks I have serviced, there has never been any with a bad PCV valve. :)
