Could someone please post a close up picture of the “Original” yellow Caution Fan & blk belt routing stickers that have the part numbers on them.

Thanks a million if you can............. :)

Correct they do but they do NOT have the part number on them. I need pics of the originals with pt #'s for our sticker guru to look at. I could post pic from mine put I have a junk camera and sh!tty dail-up, so I'm looking for a little help.

I cant help you on the belt label but the fan label should read 10120010. BEWARE! The current replacement from GM has part number 10309116 on it. Its been this way for 2 or 3 years now so finding the correct part may be futile. It is everyway identical except for the part number. I'm with you on this numbers correct stuff. Let me know when the guru gets these printed. I need a couple sets for my cars. I may be able scan the fan label as I do have one I bought back in the 80's just to have. It will take me awhile to dig it up out of the archives.

Note to Dennis Kirban: If you are going to go through the effort of repro'ing parts go the extra mile and make them 100% correct. I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for your stuff to cover any licensing fees you would have to get from GM.

Eric, If you could scan the fan label that would be great.
The new T-type I just got may end up donating it’s originals to help w/ this cause. The engine bay could use some paint anyway.

Looks like the wife has been surfing turbo buick a little. :o

Let me see what I can do. I was reading the same thread over on the other board and now I'm confused. The fan label has had so many part number changes I'm not sure what should be the correct part number for it. I'm like 99% sure that 10120010 was the number on my 86 but the part number change for the 10030420 number goes back to 1985. I'm going to have to do some research on it. Its a universal label that was used on everything with a electric cooling fan so I should have some answers waiting for me at the boneyards. If anything the font will be same so putting the correct number on it shouldn't be a problem. I do remember that GM couldn't supply the fan label back in the late 80's for some reason.

I tried to take some pictures of mine, but my digicam won't focus close enough for the belt routing decal, but the fan decal is readable. My car has 4-87 build date. The fan decal is 10030420 and the belt decal is 25526455. I can send you the fan decal picture and try to take some more with my 35mm camera.

Mark

these are original stickers from my 87 GN.

If you'd like original , high resolution (7MP) pics, provide your email address and I'll send pics (file size too big to post on Forum)

note, the labels were shot obliquely, not head-on, so may not be suitable for a direct reproduction.

when I shoot head-on, the on-camera flash is reflected back into the lens and creates a bright hot spot, almost completely washes out a portion of the label.

I'd have to use an off-camera flash (which I dont have), or rig up an external, diffuse, bright lighting source.

hopefully the photos are "good enough"

Good pix! I had already gotten pix of the f"an caution" from several others, but now the belt sticker can be finished.

Thanks!

I just doubled checked and the part number on the fan label should be 10030420. I have one I peeled off a car if you still need to copy it. I tried a scan and couldn't get the right proportions for you. PM your address and I'll mail it to you.

Do you have a site or at least a list of labels that you do? I'm thinking crazy like the Corvette dudes. Is there a demand for little things like coil spring tags, and drum brakes along with the labels for the vacuum and PM brake boosters and master cylinders. How about that bar code label on the drivers side valve cover?

Edit. Do you need a scan of the 1986 emissions label? I have a OEM one scanned. It looks identical to the 87 except for the year and engine code. I also have one that shows the vacuum hose routing with a vacuum brake booster from an 86-7 Park Ave that has been on my car since the early 90's. I would be kind of a novelty to have a TR version made up.

correct, that is also the part# on the photo I posted above, of my original 1987 sticker

Here's a few that I just finished up, courtesy of Brian Weaver and some others here in this thread. Can you guess which are the originals? I really need to update my website soon!

Thanks!

Great timing, I just had my plate powdercoated and need the fan sticker.

Great looking stickers S10, the only thing I noticed was one sticker looks a tad more yellow than the other. Good enough for me. ;)

Who do I send the paypal too?

I'd refer you to the link in my sig, the Paypal e-mail addy is there. Please be explicit in what you want, I can send you an invoice with postage if that's better. I really need to redo the ol' website...

I think it's just the blue back ground making the yellow a little off.The stickers I had were original GM from a parts guy back in the 80's who owned 2 turbo Buicks. The Buick Motor sports I found by accident opening an old shop manual.
Russ's work is second to none!
