I mean come on, its supposed to be close for gods sakes. Hell, that kid didnt even have a nomex jacket he was soo new. The person that picks the racers needs to wake up.

No kidding. That race was a joke. I am an Import person and people like that are why Imports dont get any respect. That was by far the worst race ever. I am glad that kid lost.


He claimed 600 HP, that much power in that light of a car should have taken that firebird...IMO.

that car never should have even been there. 20 cars is insane. what ever happen to run what ya brung and hope you brung enough. i do remember one race in the first season i think that one guy did not take any cars even when they were offered to him. he said i dont race like that. drag racing is a heads up game and that is how i want to run it. well he lost his car but he seemed to be a real stand up guy. dave

He didn't have a nomex jacket because there is no way that car ever ran 11's.

yea. the little red one.
and yea, i understand that, but you can just tell, the newness of that kid. even though his car may not have mandated him to wear the prescribed safety equipment, if he was smart, and had a little experience under his belt, he would have worn one regardless. its just a smart thing to do. Ive seen many a fire engulf seemingly squared away cars. And his newness isnt bad, (we all start somewhere) but im just sayin, why did whoever, pair up this obviously green kid, with an older, more experienced racer, driving an obviously superior car? thats just a total mismatch, and im just curious, as to what the 'race matcher' dude had goin on in his head. lol.

What sux is there is some FAST hondas, and they never represent on pinks. There is a local dude in ATL that runs in the 9s, has for a while, and he LAYS IT DOWN at the track, and whoops most everyones street cars. Did I mention he drives it everyday?!! Yup.
I am a TR guy, but you gotta respect power, regardless of how its made or laid.

Yes that show was one of the worst ever, hands down.

urban education 101. Yes I agree, you must give respect but only when respect is due. I too like imports if built right those things fly! Lesson one; This is what we call today, "props" Another words, achknowledging to someone that you believe what their doing is be done PROPerly, thus the term "props" Class dismissed.

I just think its funny cause that kid in the Honda ran his mouth about making 600HP; common now. I call BS . What was up with him taking off his bumpers? Did they fall off cause he was driving so fast down the 1/4 mile? Not only did he look stupid for asking for 20 car lengths but his car was missing body parts. Thats pretty lame.

That is why I don't watch that crap. It's a BS version of Bracket racing. When it first came out I was under the impression it was a heads up street type race but held at a track. It's never came close. Now I will watch Pinks All Out.
