Not mine. LOL! Someone elses car. I'll let them say if they want.

This is a great file that shows exactly what happen. The car is running a tpro and a ext pro chip. Unfortunately no boost reading. I think the wb is a plx.

Notice the knock ramp up when the maf signal drops out. AFR Spike lean. You can see the tps is still full on.

Here is the pl file.

That is odd. Hmmm? Got me??

MAF is showing the counts drop and then you have 43 degrees of spk adv but yet teh TPS is still WOT.

Leak between the MAFand the compressor? Bad MAF or electrical connections:confused:

That was my first guess until I realized the car was running speed density.

did the hose blow off the MAP sensor?

Bob

Bingo!

A tough lesson to learn.

It happened to me.

Hose popped off the MAP sensor, Engine popped loudly, blowing the up pipe off the throttlebody. Up pipe hit the hood liner, blowing a big chunk out of it as the FMIC blew down.

Limped a block or so to the next gas station, looked at the MP reading on the Translator Pro and knew EXACTLY what happened.

Put all the hoses back on and drove home. (where I replaced the up pipe clamp with a good one, and zip tied EVERYTHING).

Note, my engine still runs fine, DAMN I like E85......
