I found it on my pick up tube and after draining the last amount of oil in the pan

If you already have the oil pan off, and have better than 100k miles, you may seriously want to check the condition of the timing chain and cam gear. Not the easiest thing to replace, but better than an entire motor if it goes at just the wrong time.
