Nissan Skyline 11.7 1/4 mile @149 mph

Those new skyline are really nice cars. Expensive though. I think like 70,000.

$70,000 for a freakin NISSAN!! Hope they sell 2 in the US. They'll probably end up being sold to lil rich kids for there 18th birthday. Car is ugly as hell too!!;)

I agree with "QuickBuick87" totally...I'll never pat $70,000 + for a Nissan or any other import sh*t box...As for being ugly, it's matter of personal taste, but I'm not crazy about them either...

149 trap with an 11 sec pass from an awd car. Gotta be a typo. My car traps 115-118 with horrible 2.2-2.4 60's on the way to a mid 12 pass.

3.8 Turbo Six sounds familiar.

The inside of the skyline looks pretty impressive also.

70k isn't that much when your comparing this to other supercars. I mean this thing performs on par with a 911 turbo.

The GTR is legendary status almost like the GNX. You say those 3 letters and most car buffs now what makes them special.

I have liked Skylines for years now, around 13 I think. It is and always was an incredible car with tons of capability when modified. I always wanted to buy one, but the cost to bring it overseas legally made it too expensive.

It has to be a typo, because:

1) The guys at motor trend are hacks

2) the new Nissan is a GT-R, not a skyline

3) a Skyline in Japan is an Infinity G37, which is a high 13 second car.

My guess is they tested a Skyline race car, not a street car.

Not a Skyline?

2008 Nissan Skyline GT-R - Road Test & Review - Automobile Magazine

Not just here, but from what I have read...The "new" GT-R is the Skyline based on the G35 platform. It will be called a Skyline GT-R stateside.

Thanks to the Grand Tourismo game, every Zit ridden kid who now owns a software company has been waiting for this to happen. Nissan won't let that potential slip away without using the Skyline badge.

I just saw a Skyline last week.. I forget exactly where I was but I had to stop and do a double take.

That is a nice car . little steep on the price. I would buy a zo6 for that price or wait for the 650 hp ZR1 For 2009. that car should fly

Maybe Hogan's son will get one. When he gets his license back.

At over 3800 lbs it kind of porky but it does move. Nissan has been progressing the VQ engine nicely, this turbo version is killer.

I like the older R34 version better. Truly a "Supra-killer". I see a blue R34 over here in Dallas every now and then. Unfortunately I am always in my truck so it's hard to chase him down.

Youtube has some pretty sick video's of the Skyline. I wouldn't take out a second mortgage to own a Japanese car though.

That thing is hideous, I've seen the older Skylines when I was over in Japan... A much better looking design
