Pocket Knives

Hey guys. Looking to get a decent blade to carry. I have an old buck knife my grandfather gave me as a kid. I don't wanna risk losing it. Not looking to spend over 100 bucks. I'm sure there are some good options in that range. Any suggestions or any feedback on what to buy or not to buy

I would suggest looking at the sog twitch II, assisted blade opening type knifes, Kershaw. smith and wessons etc.

My wife loves here twitch II, I have the kershaw version. Each were around $30 to $70 depending on size.

The Kershaw Random Leek is a little more expensive than the regular Leeks, but a different blade design and better steel.

Here's the one I carry got a deal on a cosmetic second, cocobolo wood one, doesn't look like an assault weapon knife either but I did have to hide it with my cigars at the Who concert at Mohegan Sun or the pat down security or police would have gotten a freebie.

I cut a lot of cardboard with it, it sharpens well and works okay.

There's tons of knives out there and makers and types.

You could always get another Buck to replace the gift one in use and save the gift.

Kershaw. I found one years ago. broke the tip last year sent it in explaining how i was prying something. They put on a new blade. NO charge. Not even shipping.

Kershaw blackout - about $60. Speedsafe open. It's a little large for a pocket knife, but i ALWAYS have it. Like the combo of smooth blade and aggressive serrated blade. Had to cut a seat belt with it and it was like butter. Easy to sharpen as well.
