poping @ high boost rpm?

This problem is happening on my dads 13k mile GN. We change the coil pac an moduel same thing .. cam sensor ?

Plug gap?.032 I was told. I think factory spec. Was .035

Is it a fueling issue? Lean or rich will cause breaking up.

Weak motor mount? Header shorting power wire from battery to starter from torque under boost?

im thinking cam sensor car is tight ... polly bushings ... first an only track time 11.80's with a te44

Is it pretty consistent with rpm? Does it get worse the harder you push? If so I would pull the valve covers and check rocker travel. Could have a possible worn cam lobe.

yes only does it over 75mph highboost ..... He dint tell me the boost gauge isnt working ..... might be a vac hose off ....spent better part of yesterday puting on gbody front bumper fillers.... uh

sounds like a popping noise an cuts back... car has aftermarket springs .. precision front mount kenneybell cold air intake . p61s turbo ... 60# inj and erics race chip running 116 octane .. pts 9x11 converter lock up

Interested to see what this turns out to be....Had similiar issues last trip at the track popping and would nose over then clear out and then repeat...Had a puff of white smoke that showed up on the video of my last pass thinking mine might be a blown head gasket although nothing showed up in the oil or coolant and no raise in temps...

my car smoked white smoke for over 4 yrs ... no oil in coolant but kept having to add antifreeze .. then it gave up the ghost... im sure my heads were lifting on top end an water going out the exhaust

Ya that's what i think is happening heads lifting....Like your dad's mine only shows up at the top of the track usually around 100mph or so......
