I miss seeing the little indicator that appears next to thread titles I have posted in. Now there's just a big snowflake, or an occasional picture if the original post had a pic. :frown:

There's a little green check mark towards the center of the screen. That indicates you have posted in the thread. I know not as easy to spot as the one you're talking about but better then nothing.

I have no little green check marks anywhere.

I do on every thread I post in... The green check mark is located to the left of "Posts/Views"...

Nope, none here. Even tried both versions of IE (32 bit, 64 bit), logged out, and logge back in, still no indicators.

The only time I see little green check marks over there are in the FORUM view, and they are for "subscribe to this forum". Why anybody would want to subscribe to an entire forum I'll never understand.

Just snowflakes here as well. No green checks anywhere on the page.

Edit: I do see a green indicator when looking at a threads list by clicking 'New Posts'. Looking at the same threads by viewing a forum section though just shows snowflakes.

I think the ones you're seeing are in forum view, not in thread view.

I see the check mark but I hate the snow flake thing. The pics take forever to load so I've gotten in the habit of hitting the X at the top of explorer so it doesn't take near as long to load, just like Scott's banner.

As far as subscribing to sections go, I do it because if there's a new post in a section I moderate or do tech in I know about it once a day so it helps keep crap off the board or at least move it if it's in the wrong place.

Hey, Don't hate my banner just because your still trying to use string and cans to communicate over there in Texas! Get out of the Bush and into a city..... LOL, LMAO....

Well there's more bush in the city but it's a heck of a lot scarier than what you get in the country after all. We also use really big tin cans and some industrial rope, not string here.

Subscribing is fine, but at the thread level, NOT the forum level.

I consider this at Thread Level and not forum level...

Here is a picture of my screen clearly showing the green check marks for individual Threads that I have posted in...

This image shows the green check marks that allow you to "Subscribe" to that Forum!

Here's my thread level. Notice how different it is from yours.

Mine's the same as TurboDave's. No check-marks to designate where I have posted and where I have not. Damn flowers, too.

Since I'm the mod for the fabrication and how to sections it helps me keep people from posting BS in there. I don't know how many times I've moved someones post of "I don't know how to...can someone tell me please?" I'm not mean when I do it but I put the question in a more appropriate section so they'll get an answer. I also subscribe to the B4black and Texas sections so I can make sure what's going on rather than have to visit each section every day.:)

Well, they fixed to two page problem, now if we could just get this one fixed!!!
