Sorry for the size of this, I filmed it with my digital camera instead of my video camera. I'm working on about 15 new mods for my Power Wheels Modification CD. Here is the latest:

Thats awesome. I was thinking about getting the Toys 'R' Us exclusive C5R Vette for my fiances son.

What have you done to it to get it going faster? That thing looks like it was going around 10 MPH.

We didn't put the GPS on it until the batteries were about dead, but we still got an 8 mph max speed (stock is 3.5). On a full charge, hitting the magic button, I guess right at 10 mph.

A regular Power Wheels Corvette is 6 volts, we added another battery for 12 Volts and then the steering wheel button controls a Relay that adds another Battery for a total of 18 Volts.

We built the car to give away to charity at the Sandhills Open Road Race and be a mod demonstrator for my CD. When we are done with it will have more relays than my Buick.

That C5R looks like a nice car. I'm thinking of giving one of those $200 Power wheels rally cars to my boy for Father's day. I'll probably have more fun with it than he will.

That's cool! BTW your son is a great driver too.

Li'l dude got skills!! Wish they had that kind of stuff when I was a kid. Good job on that project!

OMG Tha's a trip!!

First off... that kid was gettin' it. Boy drives better at the age of ???? then many adult drivers.

Man that video was an absolute trip. Kid looked like he was having a blast and that thing was just gettin' it too. He'll be ready for Junior drags before ya know it!

Thanks for sharing!

Wow.......a child that can counter steer, and fishtail in control at five years of age.

Next John Force or Pro Ralley Driver?

my god that is awesome!

i would have killed for somethign like that when i was little. i had the little big foot power wheels. it was tons of fun, but i couldn't imigine how much fun i would have going 3 times faster...

did you have to do anything to the motors to make them handle the extra voltage? I always had the thought that it would be cool to soup up one of those, but i was thinking 2 starter motors which woudl get complicated and be a mess...

good luck keeping tires on that!

Probably a rally driver. He's wanted to "drive" since before he turned 2. He got his first power wheel then and really started getting after it after his third birthday. By then he could drive a power wheel sideways. I'd post his "monster Jeep on Ice" video from when he was 3, but the Corvette people are already close to putting me over my bandwidth limits. :)

He's had video driving games since he was two and has worn out 4X4 evolution, most of the monster truck games, most of the Need for Speed games, etc. I've run through the basics with him, but everything else is self taught. At 3 he could identify 95% of the cars in a parking lot as he walked by them (make and model) Who says Computer games are bad for you?

Where was this stuff when we were kids? We had to make do with Lawn mower wheels, plywood and rope.
