I have an 87 regal w/ manual windows, and an 85 GN parts car w/ power. Does anyone know if non power cars still have the wires available for a conversion, or what wires would I have to tap into. Any help is appreciated.

Also while I'm on the topic, I'm putting a center console in the Regal, any tips on making it easier to line up those brackets that the console screws to? Thanks

Tony

Yeah I know alot of people like the manual windows as far as weight goes. But it really isnt all that much of a difference. I work at a place that specializes in Power window repair among many other things, but believe it or not none of us ever worked on a G-body, hence me coming here to ask. As far as motors go, we have a guy inhouse that refurbishes them, or I can get them reman. for under $20. The reason I wanted to switch is because my car is manual but the door panels I'm using are for power. I just think it looks kinda tacky having a crank AND PW switches, IMO

On top of that, I live in FL, and it gets awfully hot here w/ no AC, it would be kinda nice just to hit a switch rather than constantly having to lean over and crank:D

Supposedly, the wires are there. You just have to dig and look for the plugs.
