Powerlogger ????

Installing the new powerlogger and finding some differences between the supplied instructions and what appears in the version shown on screen and on Full Throttles tech site, after cd is installed.

1) The 5V reference shown in 2 different ways : # 1 directly to ecm 5v and was with the P/L
#2 shows 5v to I/O block post 6 ? See pics below

2) Some of the files listed in the user guide do not appear when folder is opened: PLC software and USB drivers folder were not there

Am I missing something or has anyone else have this situation? Any help is appreciated............

DO NOT connect the +5 volt to the powerlogger, That was a change that was made after it was found to cause problems with certain devices. Use the first diagram

Thank you sir, to confirm, you mean diagram #1 with 5v direct to c-14 slot /gray at ECM correct. I have set the install based on that but hesitant to finalize until confirmed.

Do you have any thoughts on the 2 files that did not appear after loading CD?
I do not have it connected to the car might they appear when I attempt to use?
