Prayers for Carol Rix....

I'm sure some of you know Tom and Carol Rix. Tom usually has his front wheels up on his red Apollo, but he has been a fan of the turbo cars, too. Carol suffered a stroke last Thursday, and has since had another. She is stable and there appears to be no permanent damage, however, she is undergoing a lot of tests to find the cause. She is at U of I Medical Center in Chicago.
Please keep her and Tom in your prayers. They are both very dear to all of us.

I'll keep you posted as I hear.

I was just sitting here thinking about all the bills I have a the lack of moeny to pay them and it was getting me down. When I read this it made me think about my wife and son and how they would love me if we had nothing but eachother.

Dear God Please be with Carol her family and the doctors that tend to her, Lord be with all of those that are sick or hurting this day, it is in your Son's Holy name that we pray.

This is sad news. I hope Carol gets well soon with no lasting effects from the strokes. Tom is the person that told Dad and me about the GSCA when Tom and his family lived in Galesburg. Thoughts and prayers are with the Rix family.
