Does any one know any thing about the spaces below the Fuel guage on the digital dash. Below the words "Unleaded Fuel" it says "Premium Fuel" w/ two spaces I'm assuming are lights (opposite side of the dash than the "boost " lights). Now I've run everything from 93 to 117 in this car and havn't seen these things do squat. Any Ideas?

They are sort of like a very crude boost guage. One lights up ~5psi and one ~10psi but they vary a lot. See if the plug on the passenger side fenderwell is plugged into the round sensor next to all the relays.

The top light should illuminate blue when you pull back your turn signal stalk for your high beams. The lower area serves no purpose….it has no bulb or colored film from the factory.

The digital dash used in the 84-87s was originally used in the 81-85 Buick Riviera. The dial or face plate is the same for all of these cars no matter what engine they use. Only the lettering is changed. The word premium fuel is on all SFI turbo cars and is just a reminder from GM to use the best gas available. If you were to look at a diesel powered Regal or Riv the empty hole would have a glow plug wait lamp and yellow filter in there.

Isn't that nifty.

Thank you for the replies, I feel enlightened;)
