What is the maximum pressure seen in the cooling lines on a 200 r4 ?
Thanks
Mark

HA,,,cant wait to hear from the pros on this one ,,I got different answers from everybody

I figure someone has verified it and can clue us in, after all this is not some
deep dark tuning secret.I'm just trying to figure out what hose I need to run
since I have no trans cooling lines in the car now.

Use -6AN lines

Be careful with trans cooler line pressure, it can wipe out your main bearing thrust. Do a search here and you will alot of info on pressure vs thrust.

Billy I know the size is -6 but I would like to use something lighter in weight
than steel braided an hose. Braided hose scuffs everythig it touches also and
is very stiff for making tight radius curves.I'm thinking of useing twistloc hose
but would like to know what pressures these lines see before I make my decision.Someone knows how much pressure these lines see , thats the info
I am looking for.
Thanks
Mark

SHOULD be less than 50psi.

As long as the hose id is not smaller than the orifice in the case you should be fine. I run the lines through the frame so they are mostly out of the way. I also use quick disconnect fittings on them.

Thanks guys, I knew it wouldn't be as high as line pressure but didn't know
the exact figure.I didn't want to screw this up and end up with a smoke
detector hot glued to my hood for oiling a lane down.
