I have the 10.5" lockup in my car but I didn't see the exact model numbers on the site, but it appears close to what was built back in 2003 when I installed mine.

Never an issue and have about 50K miles on it now.

I have locked it up in the top of third at the track about 25-30 times none lately however.

About 490 engine HP, 425RWHP with a stock longblock.

Mine was a 3200 stall that's closer to 3000 at 0psi. on my car.

They make 5 different versions however now in that series.

i have a 10.5 3200 lockup in both gn's.i am very happy with the converter driveability is awesome, 60fts are 1.5 on drag radials, 25mph backhalf, the best part is it hasn't broken yet;)

I'm useing a 9.5 protorque 3200-3400 stall i am very happy with it and it spools my 49 instantly but it was a bit pricey

Scott's prices are about what i paid that's why i said it's pricey i had it installed when i had the trans done

There are 2 companies that go by Pro-torque. One is out of TN, the other company is out of New York. The company out of New York has been selling the billet cover Buick converters for a while. I've restalled several of those and they are nice pieces.

The converters the OP was asking about, Pro-Drive, are from the Bohemia, NY company.

The TN company doesn't have too much detailed info. on their website.

There web site is done by them selves and is a pretty simple site. But what the TN company does have is over forty of there customers cars (Over 90% of them are in the 4's & 5's in the eighth mile) on there main page that pretty much tells the story on how well there converters work! My site will be back up shortly with complete information on every converter they sell and other info as well. They also offer a 1 year warranty on all there converters.. I have one in my car and love it!

Pro Torque in New York is top notch. They make all high end heavy duty converters.I am finishing up my lock up 400 trans and they are making me the prototypes.Less than 1 mile away from me.I use PTC ,Protorque and Transspecialties exclusively.

Yeah, we have customers with as little as 1% slip and as much as 15% slip. It all really boils down to the vehicle and the combination of the vehicle and keep in mind the slip will be more in the 1/8th mile than in the 1/4'' mile.

To be able to come here and say "All our converters have **% slip" is impossible, there is way too many variables that come into play with converter slipage and no two combinations are the same..

We have customers with 10.5 outlaw cars that ask for 25% slip in the 1/8th!

We will nail your converter pretty damn close the first time around but in the end we will restall it free as many times as it takes untill it's right and your happy, all we ask is you pay shipping costs. ;)

Not trying to hy-jack but I can clear up the trans specialties question.

I work over at Trans Specialties. In the past we have done the 10 inch 200R4 converters but usually specialize in the 600HP to 2500HP Powerglide and T-400 stuff.

We recently began manufacturing new LS1/LT1/700R4/200R4 converters using a new 1 piece forged rear cover and over sized billet lock up piston. Every thing is fully furnaced brazed, tig welded, and heavy duty. Stalls range from 2500-4000.

I just built one for my brothers car which is 87 GN, 66BB turbo, XFI, etc.... We havn't got it back in yet, still going through the trans with new CK Transmission parts. ( smart guy and a gift to the 200R4 community! Highly reccomend!)

Here are some random pics I took with my phone before welding.
